WELCOME
This blog site is primarily geared towards the promotion of public awareness regarding R.A. 9262, otherwise known as the law on Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children. This law was passed in 2004 to address the overwhelming number of domestic violence, especially between partners, whether married or not.
The local government class of Prof. Rowena Guanzon was tasked to go to barangays with the sole intention of informing the residents therein of the law. This was primarily for the information of those who might find the need to use this law.
One of the groups created a website in order to chronicle what they did. Also, this site was conceived as a means of getting more people to know the law, R.A. 9262.
